I followed the instruction from the linksys setup and it works for only few hours. Then, it does not work. I tried to revert the settings back without the wireless router. The connections is still not working. Could it be the linksys wireless router is in conflict with Billion modem. I have tried to connect using another PC. Please check and make sure your email service provider did open the alternate port than 25. Redirecting the port on the router-level may not work. Even if we use port 587, BUT have a router in between (doing NAT) we cannot send out e-mail via SMTP. Connecting the e-mail sending computer directly to the Streamyx modem allows e-mail to be sent. This started happening about a week ago. Is there anyway to fix this problem? We prefer to keep the router/firewall device between the Internet and our LAN.
